Ben E H is proud to release his first track Mind & Brain. Mind & Brain is an upbeat track showcasing his many years of training in music. The subject of his lyrics deals with the common problems of anxiety and life struggles. Its message is about getting through the difficult episodes of life. Ben E H’s music has an alternative rock edge with funky rhythms and blues based riffs. He also is heavily influenced by skate culture. His voice has a dynamic range and unique timbre similar to Frank Black and Neil Young. He’s inspired by bands like Alice In Chains, Red Hot Chili Peppers , Sublime, 90s grunge combined with his many years of studying jazz.
Benny Hokanson, is the frontman and guitarist of the band, Ben E H. He writes the music, as well as vocals and bass. He resides in Walnut Creek California. He is trained in all styles of music and heavily influenced by multiple genres. He graduated from the Musicians Institute with an AA Degree in Guitar Performance.
